Tannins become more pronounced with some air and flavor profile is heavier on spice and bramble when paired with pepperoni/sausage pizza. Medium body, medium+ finish. Holding up well. |

I though that it drank well. It did have a bit of mustieness from age but it was still agreeable. No oxidation or bricking. There was moderate sediment in the bottle. Over all I enjoyed it. It was worth the experience. |

That probably was good for the drinking experience as well, as this remains inky purple with dense and concentrated flavor. The finish is short but without flaw. Will last another five years at least and could improve. |

The nose is vigorous and dark with a strong hint of prune or raisin. The flavor is likewise dark but the tannins are smooth and integrated. Finish is moderate. We poured this with chicken; probably best with red meat. It did soften substantially over the course of an hour or two |
